SUPPLIER REQUIREMENTS: QCS Purchasing requires all approved suppliers meet the following requirements to ensure that they are providing the QCS membership with products that meet or exceed all regulatory requirements and are the safest products possible.

  • Food and Drug Guaranty documentation
  • Certificate of Liability Insurance
  • Kosher Certificate
  • HACCP Certificate or Equivalent (for all raw material suppliers & packaging material that comes in contact with food or beverage items)
  • 3rd Party Audit
  • Spec Sheets
  • Material Safety Data Sheets
  • California Supply Chain Transparency Requirements
  • Interstate Milk Shippers (IMS) Certification
  • A copy of the Biosecurity (Food Defense) Plan or Table of Contents or a letter signed by an executive of the company that a Food Defense plan has been implemented and is evaluated annually.
